The presence of Brazilian natural stones in contemporary architecture and design has gained another important international recognition. Architect Vivian Coser received the iF Design Award 2026, one of the world’s most prestigious design awards, consolidating her trajectory leading SETTE7 after a decade marked by innovation, material curation, and creative excellence.
With more than 70 years of history, the iF Design Award recognizes projects distinguished by aesthetics, functionality, and contemporary relevance, positioning professionals and brands within a highly demanding international architecture, interiors, and product design landscape.
Known for her sophisticated and timeless approach, Vivian Coser has become an important advocate for Brazilian natural stones as central elements in the creation of authentic, sensory, and enduring architectural experiences. Her work reinforces Brazil’s potential as a global reference in high-value natural materials.

One of the highlights of this trajectory is the B Bench, presented during Marmomac Italy 2024 at the FULL/EMPTY exhibition, curated by Raffaello Galiotto. Featuring a minimalist and linear design, the piece emphasizes the sculptural strength of natural stone, exploring the balance between materiality, form, and permanence.

Crafted from Brazilian Speranza quartzite by Granistone a Rocha, the project showcases the aesthetic uniqueness and technical performance of Brazilian natural stones, increasingly specified in high-end international architecture, interior design, and furniture projects.
This achievement reinforces not only the relevance of Brazilian architecture on the global stage, but also the growing prominence of Brazilian natural stones as essential materials for contemporary projects that connect nature, innovation, sustainability, and authorial design.
